Sure is...that's also where the closest "legal" brothels (to Las Vegas) are. Prostitution is legal in Nye County. You see a lot of limos from Vegas going over the hump to Pahrump. Used to go on a bike poker run that stopped at each one

Pahrump was one of the places we were considering for retirement. They passed a proclamation in Pahrump that ENGLISH is the ONLY language spoken or written in Nye County - and in Pahrump. Check out the sign as you approach the Northern city limits to Pahrump. I should have taken a picture of it two years ago....the illegals may have burnt it down.

The charming Mrs. Duck and I are headed to Vegas that saturday, that would make a great back road trip for us to go thru Death Valley and end up in beautiful downtown Pahrump on the way there!

And, as an added bonus, I could stock up on those great illegal in California fireworks they sell there!
(except she would probably kick my ass for suggesting that)

Any of you Vegas Mob members gonna be there?
