Photos of my accident

I finally got around to taking pictures of my dent/scratches. I have not yet seen a body shop. Will try to get some quotes after I file my taxes. Hopefully I will get a return .

That is a way to close to a brick or stuco wall. Be thankful is wasn't a recycle bin like
ICBlue bumped against before a car show. Small Ouch...!

Yes Gary (WearyEagle) it can happen with the vehicle in reverse if you drive a different vehicle all week then step inside your fun ride with big fenders and fast accelerator pedal. Elaine learned very fast about those wide fender she cristened them in one week right front and right rear. That was the '04 Black Mafa staff truck not ICBlue.

Our garage is tight for the SSR... it was probably built in the 40's or 50's... so we always have a spotter to help when pulling out or pulling in.

That's a bummer! I bet your heart sank when you heard the scraping noise!

Exclamation Parts Request

If anyone has access to body parts for the rear quarter panel please PM me. The body shop wants to replace the unit but can not find any in stock so they are going to try to pull it out and add body filler. I would rather replace the whole unit than add body filler because that can be problems down the road.

Quoted price for damage: $1840 SO FAR

If they can't metal work that one, go find a different body shop. R&R a panel is a much bigger job than the metal work they need to do. Either they are incompetent or just out to make a buck. Either way, you lose.
