The retiree are ready for another road trip up along the beautiful coast. This time we’re heading to Santa Claus Lane in Carpinteria to enjoy a fine gourmet BBQ lunch at “The Barbecue Company BBQ and Grill”. This restaurant was just listed in the Oct AAA magazine.

All are welcome to join us. We’ll be hitting the road at 10:45 AM and will meet behind Toy R Us right at the Johnson Dr Exit in Ventura. (See attach map)

I will shoot for about 10:20 at your house unless I hear otherwise. If I miss that I will head for Toys-R-Us.

You better shoot directly to Toys-R-Us as I may head to Ventura earlier for some shopping.

Closed the house on Eston St. on September 23rd, had the LA Child Welfare & Adoption Services inspection last Saturday, and will be adding to my ever-growing family when we bring our newly-adopted daughter Frances home for good, in time for Thanksgiving! I also have Richard, a 20-year-old client (live-in-therapy), and a 5-month-old Jack Russell Terrier named Bentley!!!

Keeps my gray hair young!!!

Sorry, I won't be able to join you after all. My house painters are a bit behind schedule and need to finish windows this morning. That means the windows must be open and I can't leave for that long while the house is wide open.

Maybe next month?

WOW .... Best beef ribs I've had in a long time. We had a low layer of fog but it felt warm.
Heading home, I pulled into the Old Rincon Hwy just north of Ventura for some pictures. (actually, proof for abadssr to see ... )
