The weather has me wondering why Canadians come here It was so cold today and windy too, that was at the outlet mall 30 minutes west of here. Indio was very pleasant actually.
What's this about Lloyd and Gerry out this way too? I will have to pm them

We did see our second SSR a couple days ago at a Chevy (Rio Vista) dealership in a town just west of Solvang. It was Silver, '05, auto, 27000 miles, satin, $29999
And that's it, only 2 SSR's after 5 days of driving

We were in the desert

Hi Sandy and Wayne,
Lloyd and I were staying in Palm Desert this past week. When Lloyd read your message about being in Indio, we were packing to check out and come home. Oh well, we'll see both of you at our home in one week. Hopefully no rain for our DD/Coffee event!

I wish I had known you were coming to the Outlet Mall. Its only 10 minutes from my house. How long will you be in Indio? Really suggest you go to El Paseo Drive which is the main shopping drag for Palm Desert - goood restaurants- shopping - hot cars! Other suggestion is go to The River Shopping Mall (Rancho Mirage)- Cheesecake Factory and other restaurants.

Yes George, Purple - The Wonder Truck has a motto, that it would rather be dusty and rained on then dusty and rained on..... than be spottless and clean parked in the garage at home. Roadtrips Rock!!
Tomorrow we head to Oceanside.

Yah, George, even if you get "sprinklered on" here, whenever a Canadian Fanatic comes to So Cal, we delight in detailing their trucks for them.

We are at Oceanside now, yes we really are here. Anyone want to go to the San Diego Zoo with us tomorrow?
We just got back from walking the beach, from the harbour to the pier. Couldn't get over the colour of the Pacific - it's brown Like a big cup 'o hot cocoa
Leaving in an hour to have dinner at Joe's Crab Shack.
Looks like the weather will be great for saturday. I hope Lloyd and Gerry will let us wash the at their home on friday.

Sandy....(I know you like to shop).........buy a card reader and you will never hook your camera to the computer again, they work great and probably no more money than buying another cord

I am taking my folks to mission viejo today, if you are going to be on the 101, i suggest Jakes or Poisidon's in Del Mar.. tomorrow night if you don't have plans, how about happy hour in Encinitas? El Callejon's in at the SE corner of 101 and Encinitas Blvd. Knock your socks off Margarita's!!! Any SoCal's want to join us? I'll check back to see what you think.

One down and a few to go. We got together for Art's Donut Derelicts Day. It was great, I mean the donut! Oh and, the fanatics were all there dark and early and ready to cruise and chat too.

Well tomorrow we begin our eastern trek, to Arizona. Our time in SoCal was fabulous. This is winter weather that I could get used to Meeting the fanatics here was worth the trip and we're only halfway thru the month.

Are you bidding? Some pretty nice cars on the block. I'm thinking we could have a lot of fun driving the Monkey Mobile in Penticton

We are wet and cold in BC, so you aren't missing much.

all SSR's at the B-J Auction are pictured on the GM @ Barrett-Jackson thread. Including VIN's
Not sure if we'll go back to the auction on sunday to see them auctioned, that sure would be sweet.

Drove top-down today after Mike in AZ installed some goodies in his shop/garage.
