Sonic
I have been to the Sonic in Victorville a couplke of times. It is located right off the freeway before you get to Bear Valley road, coming north bound. It would make a good meeting place for SSR runs from our valley.

When we lived in Hemet, we always called it "Helmet", because, at the time, the city was about 80% retired, and driving in that town should have required a crash "helmet" for safety. An inordinate amount of "special restricted licenses" were issued by the local D.M.V. for among other things, "no more than 3 miles from home", "day time only", and my personal favorite, "may make right turns only".

We just got a Sonic here in Peoria. Has been open just short of a week. Over the week end I was told they had the boys in blue directing traffic.
Drove by it today at lunch time and there was not one parking spot open and the drive threw was all the way around the building.
I believe that makes 2 Sonic's within a 15 mile drive for us.
For me I have not made it to either one yet. But we do hit them when we are on the road.

Nothings changed except their kids drive the same way too, guess it's DNA...
I love it at the DMV when they ask the retired person to read the eye chart and they say what chart......
Got one more thing you would get a kick out of, our stop signs are twice the size as regular stop signs and they still don't see them...

I bought Sonic stock 5 years ago. It went up 110% but as of today is back to 20% up. Not bad in this market. The recent expansion was one reason and the general market conditions also contributed to the drop. Its a great, well run company and I will stick with it. (This is not a stock tip) Jack
