Hi Nor Cal Fanatics! It should be a fun day tomorrow. I look forward to seeing everyone and to lead the SSR's in a leasurely drive past the State Capitol building, Sutters Fort and over the Tower Bridge. Because the Pacific Rim Street Festival is going on in Old Town, we will be unable to cruise down the streets. However, arrangements have been made to allow us to park our SSr's in all their glory on the Old Town street! There will be alot going on tomorrow to keep you amused. The triple A Rivercats are in town, the street festival and many shops and museums are within walking distance. Have a great Rod Run along the river and see you tomorrow!
Had another great time, as always so nice seeing our regular friends, old friends again and meeting new ones too. Thanks for everything George, everything was great. We had a nice turn out and it really wasn't hot until after lunch. Shame we weren't able to drive thru old town but the parking spot was nice and all the R's got plenty of viewing. Look forward to our next Rod run in June. Wayne and Debbie
Thanks Wayne and Debbie. Yes, it turned out well and it was a joy to see 12 R's in one place. Also, I just ordered the hood lift kit that you suggested. See you again down the road!
WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!! Drive up the #160 river road with eight SSR's trailing to meet up with more SSR's at the State Capital Building. So many good friends and a few new friends. Our SSR photo-shoot was a one of a kind! The local Corvette club (Page 1) had a permit to close off the Capital Mall main entrance (Round-A-Bout) road for pictures and their preseident Mr. Reeder invited us to photo shoot with our SSR's AND Their Corvettes.
After the Capital Mall gathering we had a Cruise to the Old Town (Really Crowded) hithe the Pacific Rim Street fair.
BY THE WAY, our host George (ssrgeo) not only planned everything just perfect but reserved, prepaid and paid for everyones SSR's privledged parking right in the middle of the Old Sacramento crowd of visitors so we got alot of attention.
Joe's Crab Shack was great and lots of fun with their waiter line dancing at times and good food and fast service. I can go on and on but it would only make those that could not make it feel even worse....lol.
I thank you all for helping make this day another SSR perfect day of fun! I'll post my pictures soon and hope the see your photos here to.
Thanks so much George!!!

Hello again Bill Reeder President of the American Dream Corvettes Club. I just had to email you to thank you and your www.AmericamDreamCorvettes.org group for extending your most generous and friendly welcome to our eleven (11) Super Sport Roadster group. You made our day! Rodrun trip up the #160 river road, State Capital photo-shoot, Cruise, Lunch (at Joe's Crab Shack) and Old Towns Pacific Street Fair a complete and pleasant day for all eleven SSR's. We do this Old Sacramento trip once a year and try to plan something (anything) once per month. We usually don't have this many show up here but we are getting the second generation owners that seem to want to get out more. If you ever want our group to come by or join your group please let me know so I can get the word out in time. By the way, you're welcome to join us at any time even for no reason at all...lol.
Thanks to everyone for a great topless day...
Steve & Judy
