Man, I sure miss cruising around Applehill when I lived out that way. There are some great mountain roads and many things to do and see along the way. Hope everyone has a great trip!

Right now, it looks like Darlene and I can join you guys for the Apple Hill gathering. It was great fun last year!

My grandson and I will be meeting everyone @ McDonalds in Sacramento. Will discuss run, and lead group to Buttercup Pantry Restaurant in Placerville. Have mapped out a tentative route with different vendors from last year: Bill's Apples, Grandpa's Cellar, Rainbow Orchards, Honey Bear Ranch, High Hill Ranch/Fudge Factory & Boa Vista Orchards.

we are staying in placerville tonight (twin queens) to rest up for another day of shopping.
today we had nine (9) SSRs and a silver camaro join us up here. Thank You Papawalker for a beautifully planned SSR rodrun day. Several of us took pictures and will post them later when i can reduce them for the forum here. we had some new ssr'ers join n with us up here and look forward to our next months trip to santa cruz then up hwy@1 and inland through the mountains of hwy@84 east.... see our events at: antioch calif

Hi Steve...................Sorry we missed you in the Applehill area. We departed from Lake Tahoe early this morning, stopped at a few apple farms and then headed out toward Sacramento. We did see some of the NorCal group heading up the mountain on highway 50 about 10:45. Those apples were delicious and so were the apple brownies, apple donuts and apple turnovers!

Sorry we missed you guys.....We broke up into three SSR groups going up Hwy#50 with all the traffic we encountered. Guess you saw one group zoom past.

Bondo Princess - Sorry we missed having you join us in Placerville for brunch/lunch. No doubt you saw everyone heading up 50 to Placerville s we left Sacramento @ 10am. Got to Placerville around 10:55am. Ken

PapaWalker (Ken) setup a great organized rodrun this last Satuday. We all had a great time and no one got lost. There is so much to see at Applehill that we had to pick just a few to visit. What a woderful place to take the family! Sorry we missed you Lloyd & Gerry!
