SSR's in X-Mass Parade

NOVEMBER 21, 2009 Line up by 3:00pm. at Birch & 1st. Street.

Bring your X-Mass tree Decorations. Annual Brentwood (No. CA.) X-mass Parade.

After the parade we meet at the Brentwood Cafe... Birch & Brentwood Blvd.(Hwy#4) for dinner.

Last year we had 10 SSR's and a nice dinner afterwards at the Brentwood Cafe.

Events: antioch calif
Parade is free........

Note: We are representing the local long standing non-profit Delta Community Services that provides the local nearby six city's needy with information and referral services.

A really great time was had by everyone who attended yesterdays Holiday Parade. We had eight SSRs there and made a lot of children very happy with all the candy we were handing and throwing out. This event gets better every year. Here are a few pictures and I'm sure there will be more posted by others.

I wish we could have been there.

It seems multiple events were scheduled for the same day. The UC Davis vs Sac State "Causeway Classic" was taking place that same day and it's the one time a year I get to meet up with some of my non SSR friends. (Sac State WON! - Go Hornets).

Our annual planning meeting for our norcal-retrobirds.org group was scheduled in West Sacramento as well and Darlene attended by herself (I know - Darlene going to a car club event by herself - maybe 2012 is going to happen

)

I guess our "new to us" 2004

SSR will have to make its debut at the next norcal SSR gathering.

What does someone have to do to view the pictures? I click the JPG attachment, and I get "403" forbidden error? I thought it was that I needed to log in, but now logged in and still having difficulties...

I will try this thread again tomorrow and I hope the forum will have fixed the problem with viewing pictures. I'm anxious to see them

Sounds like the gang had a great time while I was locating front replacement tires. Left SSR with daughter while I used her SUV to transport 2-grandsons. On country lane leading to our house she was run off lane & blew right front. Based on remaining tire tread I had to also replace left front. Fortunately only tire damage but made it impossible to join the parade.
