I would allow 45 minutes, though I suspect many will make it in less than that. The Sunday morning drive should be fairly clear on the I-5, I-605, and I-210.
MapQuest: Driving Directions: North America

this link is not the shortest route but I think is the easiest and does not go over any of the tour ground.

Based on a time of 10:15 to be at the Rose Bowl I would recommend a breakfast time of about 8:30 to 8:45. Which hotel are you guys staying at? I can meet you there.

Who is bringing what?

I will be providing hamburgers and hotdogs for the BBQ as well as the gas grill. I will have Diet Pepsi and Diet 7UP and a cooler of ice. I will not be cooking since I will be responsible for keeping the trains on the tracks. It is the responsibility of each to cook their own or find someone to cook for them. TommyB has offered to bring a dessert. As people post what they plan to bring I will add it to Post #2 so people can see what is available. If what you want is not listed, you are welcome topost & bring it for the group. If there is something special you need you are welcome to bring it yourself and I will find a place to store it at an appropriate temperature.
I have 2 large ovens and a large microwave preparation of side dishes.

I have not purchased anything yet so the buns would be fine. I am sure that more than one dessert would also be acceptable to the group so either is fine. Let me know your preference. I would be happy to get the buns while getiting the meat.

We'll be at the Best Western Park Place across the street from Disney, at 1544 S. Harbor Blvd. See you there Al, and your breakfast is on us

Dwight, what scale is your train set(s)?

I run both 1:22.5 and 1:24 because they are so close (1/2" = 1'). Most of the buildings are 1:24.
