Hatterhead (Jim, our own Mad Hatter) giving Dwight (bluestreak) an award for all the sacrifices he must have made to make this day a delight for his fellow Fanatics.
The award, a plaque with a spike taken from the Small Small World Ride in Disneyland (I know what song you're humming right now )
Our own Italian Stallion Robert (ICBlue) taking over the cooking duties.
And, of course, Fanatics just being Fanatics enjoying the day, enjoying each other's good will and enjoying our FREEDOMS. I hope today, and every day, we remember that FREEDOM is NOT FREE. Its been paid for with the blood of our Grandfathers, Fathers, and is being paid for even today with our Children's blood. We are indeed so very very fortunate to have a dedicated military willing to make these sacrifices.

"He stands the wall, while you sleep, and says, No harm will come to you tonight . . . not on my watch".

I think the California AQMD (Air Quality Management District) has gotten to, Dwight, forcing him to burn absolutely clean coal as you can plainly see these steam locomotives aren't emitting any smoke. Next thing they'll be expecting him to go ALL ELECTRIC ! ! Regulatory basturds ! !

Glad we were able to get you together with someone who could help you and that they have a charming wife. Just don't want you to think it was me. I know very little about taxes and my wife died two years ago.

Thanks for coming to the cruise and BBQ and hope to see you again.

Thanks to all for the awesome pictures. And Linda, I'm amazed at how great your shots from the top of the wind screen turned out And a huge thank you to Linda and Al for the rides that was so much fun. And a thank you in advance to Lloyd and Gerry for bringing my "R" to Penticton for me. And Rick, the CD is super groovy (finally got out in the truck yesterday to give it a listen) thanks a lot. Dwight, your hospitality is top notch, great house and garden. The food was delicious, thanks to everyone!
And a great big thank you to Jim and Janet for the fun and games we would not have enjoyed if not for you.
Oh yeah, and Nancy and Larry for that little chocolate bar that got me thru two coasters before finally eating

Sandy

Hi Dwight
Somehow the SSR flatcar I brought ended up with different trucks with LGB couplers.
Do you have the others? No big thing just wanted to solve mystery
Haven't forgotten about Ward Kimball project just got to get to it.
