Just an FYI . . . when I was researching about a year ago, none of the independents would assure coverage for the top.

Exactly, Maxey . . . my primary concern for the first extended warranty I have ever purchased was the R's top coverage.

I called a bunch and found the GMPP would cover the top and was the best value.

I have the GMPP, they were the only one that would provide adequate coverage. I am still not convented that GM provides adequate coverage, in that so many owners have had so many problems with the Dealers. But you have to start somewhere

Maxey's, I don't have any personal experience with them, but have been curious about the company since Rusty Wallace and his son became pitchmen for the firm after securing NASCAR Nationwide series sponsorship from them.

Has been a bust for those trying to get repairs, just call any body shop and the Service manager will tell you why they aren't honored. And I believe 'insurance' is not a term allowed for that company.

not sure which one I have but did get on the phone before purchase and they said they do the top , unlike other convertables that are not hard top style. they cover all mechanical parts

If you are interested in a GMPP . . . I found a contact at a Chevy Dealer who will give you the best price plus offer extended payments.
