Mr Duck and I are going to be cruising on Sunday down to Newport Beach I have never been down there and have seen it online and thought it looked pretty good
If any of the locals know of any good spots and you could point us to them that would be great We would also like to extend an invite to anyone that is interested to join us.
We will be leaving the Desert at 8:00 am and heading down We could meet locals at Starbucks if you are interested. We will then drive down to Seal Beach Blvd and the 405 get there about 10:00 am Then head down PCH to Newport Beach. Have Lunch, look around then head back
Newport Beach Rib Company. Assuming I can get away, could meet at SBB and 405. There's a Japanese restaurant on the NW corner that could serve as a good meeting spot.
That would be great to have a local join us Hope you can get away
Will wait to hear if anyone else wants to join in but sounds like a good meeting place
Cathy and I are going to scottish fest in long beach saturday and staying in costa mesa so we may join you at 10am at sbb and 405 and cruise back down to newport,we will let you know for sure saturday nite.
Hey guys how do I find this Japanese restaurant at Seal Beach and the 405?
I take it that it's not hard to find, just need to know which way to look!

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day. We met up with Annie, Don (Mr/Mrs Duck), Jeff and Cathy (ssjeff) and cruised Pacific Coast Highway with our tops down. It was about 75 degrees and the surf was up. We had a delightful lunch in Newport, then cruised to the pier for a nice walk. We ended our afternoon near Balboa Island and had an ice cream treat.
Thanks Annie for allowing us to "tag along."
Had a great time today going down P.C.H.with the Mr Ducks and the Llogers. Stopped at the Fashion Island Mall for lunch at Cheesecake Factory then to the Newport Pier for Balboa Bars. Couldn't ask for a better day, spending time with our friends. Happy Valentine's Day!
Here are a couple of pics. Ice cream break and surfs up.

The surf was up as Gerry said and the salt just filled the air As you can see even the surf was smiling
