Hey Jeff........................what happened to Bob's Big Boy in Burbank? Be sure to let us know if you decide to go there in the near future. Some chef on Food Network nominated the tri tip sandwich at Cold Spring Tavern as her favorite sandwich. She said that you must add the homemade BBQ sauce and the salsa to make it complete. You retirees have fun and watch those curves on that mountain run.

I saw that "Cold Spring" tri-tip on the food channel the other night.
As for Bob's Big Boy, I'm guessing late Feb or early March. We'll let you know.

Are you sure we want to be up at Cold Spring if we get surprised? Maybe a less suseptible location would be a better idea considering the unpredictible weather.

What a day.
Two possible fanatic law breakers were given a warning …
Sunny and clear for miles. Local hills were green from the rain we just had.
Food at the Cold Spring Tavern was good.
We took a drive over to Solvang for some ice cream.
Top down drive home on the 101 was awesome.
Looking forward to doing this again …. but without the warning from local law enforcement.
