I've always wanted to join you guy's. But I have Standing Doctor Appointments on Wednesdays. The Elephant Bar is one of my Favorite restaurants. The Goleta Bar was my Hang Out when I lived in Santa Barbara.

I wouldn't want the day moved just to accommodate me.

One of these days when I'm better; the Weekly Appointments may be changed to Monthly. Then I can Hop in the SSR and Join you Guys and Gals.

Keep your eyes & ears open Moody as sometimes we schedule the Lunch on a Thu due to one of us four (RRR, Daliygolfer, PVPDriver & CANARY) having other comments on Wed.

Think Wednesday for lunch is to much? We also meet Monday morning for coffee at the Rolling Pin in Camarillo (RRR and Dailygolfer) hangout. Then on Friday we meet for coffee in Oxnard at Seabridge by the Marina (pvpdriver and canarys) hangout. Then we sometimes have lunch on Sundays. This is not a JOKE>

I need to go back to work to pay for all of this.

Marc, So that you get a better idea of how retirement works, check with your training coordinator at work and tell them you want to sign up for the Retirement Plannning Workshop.

That would just agravate the problem. I already have too many things to do (retiree lunches, SSR runs, work on garden railroad, etc.) and am not sure where I found the time to work before I retired

Wow … Absolutely a perfect day for a topless drive.

Sunny and clear for miles and I’m sure we all had a wide smile as we were cruising down the freeway.

The food as good … and like always, meeting up with the other SSRFanatic as the best part.

What a fabulous day!! Got to play hookie from work... spend time with the Retirees (& pretend I'm retired, too!

) then I took the long way home... via PCH... what a gorgeous day! Topless and happy!

It was a hoot... we all just sat down... and a nice lady came up... ask us if those were our trucks... "Yep!"... She said.. "We've got two of those back home in OK!!!" Isn't that a hoot! They had not heard about the Fanatics... but Bluestreak took care of that!
