I will do my best to get there, but do not wait for me. If I am not there I will shoot for the Cafe and maybe catch you on the road.

Just got home from a wet drive north to have lunch with the Wed Retirees (Myself, Dailygolfer, PVPDriver, CANARY & BlueStreak).
With all the traffic we had to deal with, I'm guessing BlueStreak will be home after 4.
Anyway, the wet weather doesn't stop us from having a good lunch with good friends.

All are welcome to join us as we'll be meeting up again at Bob's Big Boy in two weeks.

We saw three other SSR going in the other direction from where we were going. The most I think we’ve seen while out on a drive, especially on a wet day..

Bluestreak Fender Bender

Dailygolfer Just Called Me Saying That Bluestreak Just Called Him.

Well Dwight Was Almost Home From Lunch. Somewhere In Pasadena He Had Someone Stop In Front Of Him And As He Swerved He Hit His Left Front Fender And Then His Right Front Fender.

Dailygolfer Told Me Dwight Is Ok. No Injuries. He Is On The Side Of Road In Pasadena Waiting For The Police.

Dwight Will Be Looking For Rt And Left Fenders. More Info To Come As Soon As We Hear Anything.

That about covers it except for picture. I hit a 99 MB SUV See first picture.

picture 2 is the right front which caught the tier of a guy in the lane to my right but no damage to his vehicle.

3 is my left front from my phone camera on the freeway shoulder.

4 & 5 show my left front with a bit more resolution after I got home.

Other than that it was a great day.

Hope I can get it fixed for Laughlin.

Looks like both fenders and the spear to me. The bumper cover is also scratched.

below is the front from straight on in case someone sees something I missed.

Dwight, a little paint polish should do it!

Actually, the right doesn't look bad at all. I've seen worse on my Babe, and it turned out fine.

I know of a guy in Piru, who charges $60. an hours, and it a miracle worker with metal, often building large parts of exotic cars from scratch, if you are interested.

Sorry I missed lunch, but I was in Culver City to get some parts installed on "Jessica", my daughters hot pink Corvette. The paint work on the car is amazing, and was very reasonable, too. Daniel @ International Auto Body & Collision, Culver City.

If AAA is open tomorrow I will get started on the process, otherwise on Monday. I will start with the shop that did my rear bumper in less than 48 hours, and see what they have to say since I was very happy with their work
after the dealer body shop did not even show up for the estimate appointment. I'll go from there and hope forthe best as far as Laughlin is concerned. Might end up driving the Yukon and going off roading.

Find a good body shop with a guy that knows how to work metal. I think both fenders can be saved if you find the right hammer guy..
