Smokey & BlueSSr arrived at the Omni in downtown San Diego for a little Christmas R&R.

We leave the Omni on Sunday the 26th and head to Barona in Lakeside for a couple more nights before heading back to Tucson.

We got into San Diego about 2:15pm..... rested, unpacked, etc.... and then went to our 5:00 reservation for dinner a tad bit early (4:05!)... as we forgot the time change. LOL
Dinner was at Asti on 5th in the Gaslamp District. Great italian seafood restaurant. Jim had a Veal Chop however that was to die for!!! Yummy.

Then took in a movie across the street from restaurant. Now back to Omni Hotel after a nice walk for some more R&R. Will probably be pretty quiet tomorrow as everyone is celebrating Christmas in their homes with family.

See you next month.... time is flying and it won't be long before time to pack for Laughlin. So we are meeting again at Harrah's, huh??? Reminds us of last year too!

not everyone Glenda. We are heading south tomorrow morning and overnighting in Oregon. We are bringing our own tuna sandwiches just in case everything is closed. No turkey dinner, so this will be a very different Christmas Day.
