Wheels And Waves Car Show Santa Barbara

Has anyone ever attended the Wheels and Waves Classic & Hot Rod Show in Santa Barbara? It's coming up - May 17th and 18th in Santa Barbara.
It says on their website Wheels and Waves that Andy Granatelli is the Grand Marsall with Sam and Chip Foose as a couple of the judges. Entry fee is $40.00.
Web page says they will have over 400 cars.
Just curious if it is worth the trip? Hard to beat Santa Barbara for nice places to visit, even without a car show.

will miss it by abot 14 days will be in santa barbera in the first part of the first week staying neat the wharf(?) so if you see a yellow one around that week its just me and the wife celebrating our 21 anniversary (man its gone by fast)

Been to it a few times. Has always been a great of cars. It's along State street. Tons of good places to eat,shop, great scenery in the background and on foot. On sunday there is always an arts and crafts event also on Cabrillo south of Sterns Wharf along the beach.

Sounds like fun, but May is a bit crowded on my calendar this year. I have to retire so wrk doesn't get in the way of fun.
