Photo Opportunity!
Four Corners is an hour and a half drive west from Durango, CO. The California and Arizona contingents are planning a get together at Four Corners at roughly noon on Thursday, August 21st, for a photo op by Bigwave. Picture it: four states, one photo and a bunch of SSR's - it should be a blast! The group will probably kick around Four Corners for a couple hours, then make the hour and a half drive into Durango for the meet and greet later that afternoon.
Those coming from the south and west can meet in Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday night, August 20th. Convoy should start around 9am Thursday morning for Four Corners. If you want to get in on the convoy, contact Blue Thunder for more details.
One other detail - there is a $3 charge for admission to the monument. I'm not sure if they accept credit, so bring a few dollars with you.

Reason: corrected dates - photo op is on Thursday, 8/21.
My wife and I would be interested. We did an exotic car cruise from Durango to Telluride via Silverton and Ouray last fall. It was a blast. Would love to come back to the area.

I am still in Laughlin but need to be on that list until my boss says otherwise. Unfortunately that will not be until mid March. Hope we can make that happen. I will be doing some arm twisting and seniority awarness training to make it acceptable to the boss.

The response has been fantastic! I think I've gotten everyone accounted for so far - please check the list in post #2 and let me know if I missed anyone.
I'll continue to add names as they roll in. I'll also check with the Doubletree tomorrow (Tuesday, 1/29) to see if they have our group rate information yet.
