I never knew that Colorado was so progressive as to have co-ed prisons! What's that, oh, those are the FANATICS? Sorry, I mean that is quite an impressive looking group!
Continue to have a great time out and up there!

I shared the raccoon story with my parents. They got a kick out of it. They have a terrible problem with raccoons.
Several years ago, some young raccoons could smell food cooking in their log cabin on the lake, and those rascals tore the screen from the door trying to get inside. It sounded like burglars beating on the door. My mother could not get out of the house to shoo them, so I had to walk over and scare the creatures away. Another time, my mother was sewing in a room upstairs and felt like someone was watching her...it was a raccoon sitting on the roof, looking into the window at her. And my father periodically borrows my Have-A-Hart traps to remove the raccoons that nest under the eaves.

2300 miles round trip via Santa Fe going and Moab coming back. We left Estes Park yesterday at 8:30 AM AZ time and arrived at Flagstaff at 11:15 PM. It rained most of the way home. We had to detour around to Leadville and back to Vail as I-70 was closed at Copper Mountain. About a 65 mile and 3 hour detour.
The best part was driving through Monument Valley in a lightning storm. It was pitch black until lightning strikes illuminated the mountains - wow what a sight!
We didn't take too many pics - there are a lot better photographers among us, and I'm sure they'll share with us.

I though that you might like to see what all those who left Sunday, missed Monday. We had to go through Rocky Mountain National Park to get to US 40.
This is what we ran into above the Timber line.
