I talked to a gentleman there a few minutes ago, and he was manning the desk by himself this evening. He said he was checking in guests, and it would be about a 20 minute hold. I told him I understood and I would call back later.

We've been trying to call for last hour and they are NOT answering their phones! Maybe it is their busy time... but seems strange that a hotel doesn't answer their phone! I even checked the phone number on the website and it is the same.

Also, tried making it direct on the website and it said they have NO rooms available for that day whether for the SSR rate or any of their other rates...

GRRRRRRR....

I'm still trying too!!! Same story... no answer... boy they must really have the market cornered at the 5 oclock hour

. I Have tried to get a room there at 9PM on several trips prior and didn'thave any luck then either. The great part is Duane made the arrangments and Jeff is not having any better luck either...

I am planning to attend the photo shoot, but I am coming from Salt Lake and will just drive and not need a room in flagstaff. Is the time 12:00 noon and is it MDT, or Arizona (MST), or what.

Sorry, corrected the state designation. All times for Flagstaff and 4 Corners are PDST which is the same as MST. Durango is on MDST, so we will lose an hour between 4 Corners and Durango. Noon in Durango MST.

Elaine and I got reservations at the RAMADA too. the manager me called tonight, to say he finally had the booking squared away, and I told him our friends are already trying to call in and not able to get through.

You have to call in and do not try to make reservations online as it is not working.

When you call in, ask for "RAMADA SSR" or ask for "Nilton" an assistant manager (yes it is NILTON), I do not know why they could not reserve them any other way.

Keep trying Dwight. The guy who finally answered my calls is all by himself and very anxious to assist. Hell.... he even offered to take BlueSSR and give her a wash & wax when I get there --- at least that was his story! I'm sure he would much prefer to take her for a ride LOL...
