SSR's To Sturgis

We will be going to the Sturgis motorcycle rally in August with the SSR. Wondering if anyone else is going...or interested?

We are originally from CO and look forward to returning and joining your regional club in a year or so.

its called bike week for a reason, i will never take a 4 wheeled vehicle through sturgis around that time of year again, its bad enough trying to get around on a bike, much less finding a parking spot near where you want to be. Having 4 wheels only makes it harder. good luck, if you see a group of young guys on rockets ill be the one on the black/grey busa

A couple of years ago (3) a group of fellows from El Paso rode up to Sturgis, all on Harleys except for one loud mouth on a crotch rocket, Joe cool leathers, fancy full face race helmet and a riding style that clearly belonged in the circus.
Well we had a ball, partying at the One eyed Jacks, The Hard Rock etc and Race Rock could not for the life of himself get a "Fancy" to go for a ride with him. After the third night of his lack luster performance ( at least compared to the 2 other fellows on HDs who were having the time of their lives. RR ( rACE rOCK) was beginning to get interested in Chopper Bikes, The Iron Horse dealer on Lazelle street was letting test rides on all his models. RR took a Texas Chopper out, while riding beside him, he was getting cat calls from tons of females, man was he surprised. Make a long story short he bought the TC and rode it steady for the next 4 days and had the time of his life with his new found Stallion ( and Babe magnet")
He had the Kawasaki shipped home, sold it and now has a FatBoy as well as the Texas Chopper. He always keeps tell us, Man am I ever glad I went with you guys to Sturgis and got me a real motorcycle!!!! That's debatable, I'm sure, but I love Sturgis and have been every other year since 1990, The ride there is always the best part.
I don't believe I would ever take the SSR, cause when would you have the time to use it. I guess riding HDs and Choppers is a lot like riding an SSR , The life man, the life.

Race Rockets? After a 1/4 mile what else is there to do. Yvonne Duhamil I'm not Have fun there no matter what you ride. Be sure to tell us some lies when you get back

too much of a hassle to see the sites in sturgis from a cage so it stays at home for the rally
