Talking Thank you Durango Rally attendees

WOW!
for someone who didn't get to attend this wonderful event, I really cleaned up.

The raffle favored my donation which was really just supposed to be that...a donation, but thanks for buying the tickets Doug and Thumper.

But I want to extend a special thank you to jwthomp, sunflower, doug allen, and thumper for making the animated print of my ssr and the train and then having everyone sign it.
That is REALLY SPECIAL. All of you really made us feel like we were there. What a great group as it has been said so many times...but never enough.

Thanks to all who donated prizes for the raffle also, I will start getting my donations together for the international rally to return the favor.

And thank you to nelson and phoenix for going out of their way to come to Austin and for hand-delivering all the nice gifts and thank you Focks and Diane for not taking my stuff

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you all...

It would have been better if you could have been there to pick them up yourself, but I am sure you feel that way as well. Congrats on your winnings.

Need more red

Although the few Redlines tried to hold up their end of the color spectrum, it could have been a lot better if you were there.

Debbie says HI and asked me to tell you that she missed ya a lot.

Oh yeah.... your name DID come up a lot...... mostly in reference to who was NOT gonna get picked out of the raffle bucket

See ya soon,

Mike & Debbie

Well we have to publicly thank Sunflower (Lori) and JWTHOMP (John)...mostly Lori
for the cool looking bag she made for us to thank us for our help with the Durango Rally, although we did it 'cause we like ya'll and we couldn't be there.

We had to travel to Ft. Collins, CO a couple of weeks ago on business and while we were in the area decided to see the Astros BEAT the Rockies followed by a fantastic visit to Lori and John's home. Got to meet their daughter, Halley (sp?) and John's father and their new Chow-Chow. It was there they presented us with the great thank you gift. I'll get pics later and post, but it is very similar to the bag they raffled off.

Lori does first class fantastic work on her creations and I urge all to drop her a PM to found out more about her new business and perhaps get yourself a new purse or bag from her. She showed us some more of her creations and can get quite elaborate with her work...very nice.

Mrs. OP will get alot of use out of this bag and you may even see it at one of the fanatic get-togethers in the future...that is if we can ever make another one...

Anyway, thank you again Sunflower and for the milano cookies too!!!

Too funny! Probably not a bad idea either!

OP,
We really enjoyed visiting with you and Mrs. OP during your visit to Colorado. I am really glad you are enjoying your bag and the cookies! It was a lot of fun to make. Thank you!
