Cool and the perfect family gift to Sunflower is Milano cookies...and a raccoon...it's a family joke or at least it should be.

at least the family tree forks....

I joke with Lori (Sunflower) that she is related to most of Southwest Kansas in one way or another - the funny thing is I keep turning out to be right. This also explains why Lori's mom always seemed to be thinking hard when we mentioned Denny and Kay - seems she was making the connection, but couldn't remember who married who in this case.

Despite the shirttail ties, I consider my SSR family my real family anyway.

On a related (sic) note, I've traced family history for both maternal and paternal sides for Lori back to the 1600s, and my maternal history also back to the 1600s, so it seems we both have colonial ties in America. I can't seem to get past my great grandfather on my paternal side - I know he was drafted in WWI because I found his draft card, but haven't turned up a birth certificate yet. (most of my family on my paternal side resided in Texas from the late 1800s through the 20th century.) Perhaps it's for the best - I might wind up related to Focks somehow.

It is now! My whole family has fun with this, especially my nieces who have fun telling me about their run-ins with the racoons in their neighborhood park from time to time. And yes, the cookies are always a good idea!

Kart3D (or should I say "Cousin?") I'll bring the Milanos to Durango just in case!
