Two years ago when I put my deposit down, I contracted for the one and only 03 the dealer was getting. This was when it was expected that 3500 would be produced. With all the delays, I was informed that the dealer's 03 allocation was cancelled by GM. My order then changed to an 04.
Now GM indicates they will once again produce 3500 '03s. It appears on the surface that my dealer did not get their one 2003 allocation back.
Were those allocations re-distributed, or is it that the 3500 units are going to the dealers where they were first intended.
Any help or insight would be appreciated.
