$11,000.00 Turntable for your underground garage that fits 5 -6 vehicles! That's what caught my attention, turned to page 11B Metro section and there is the designer/builder leaning against a SSR

here is the link but the online version doesn't show the second pictures of the layout of the garage and the picture of the owner/builder.

I will try to get it scanned in.

good to be rich, yeah but in Texas it would take alot of money because of the wet soil, there has to be a sump pump running all the time. The paper actually had a drawing / layout of the basement garage oh but it would be sweet!

So lets say that you have your SSR, 62 Corvette, 68 Charger R/T, 62Ferrari 250 and 66 911 all parked down there on the turntable. Then the rains come. Then the power goes out. The battery back up cant keep up. They are all flooded and ruined. No Thanks! Ground level or above for me please. I have lived through some floods and they are no place for any vehicle that you would like to keep.

I'm sure somebody with that kind of money invested in cars will have a generator in place was well as plan B, C and D in case of floods.

The price for just the turntable says that the house and basement are top class and I am sure they do have backups too. but What If...........

Another $10k on a 12-15kw automatic generator would be pocket change on a house of that class.

Wildcat, the same story just ran in the local Palm Springs paper this past Saturday. It caught my eye since the SSR was RED. Bevan
