Darth Vader's SSR
Found this article recently. Although my SSR is black, this isn't my cup of tea. I wonder how the owner can stand those bright door handles!

The flat black fenders make it look like they need to finish the paint job. Maybe all flat Black would look good????
Not my taste at all.

Daring to be different is never going to meet everyone's approval.
I figure it is likely more stealthy and slips through radar traps unnoticed!

That was my thought... It looks like he had some damage on the front end, and just hasn't got around to painting it to match. I did that years ago on a Honda I had... Primer in the colour of the car doesn't stick out from a distance.
If the front-end was painted to match, the blackout look wouldn't seem so out of place... Not my cup of tea, either way, but if s/he likes it...

I agree, BluDragon
Either Flat Black all the way or NO Flat Black . . . this looks unfinished.
Definitely not my taste either . . . too much work to keep clean.

Their only so much paint in a small spray can. I'm sure s/he will buy some more during the holiday sales.

If I painted my Tail Light Lens Black like that. I wouldn't get 10 Blocks before I would have a NEW RED LIGHT ON MY TAIL.

You are just too unfair - it has it's place, but I think we might be supportive by sending Darth V goodies to accessorize.

I agree. Part flat black doesn't do it. I think all flat black would have a more "mean" look if that's what they are after. The way it is it makes me wonder if they are still working on it. Just my opinion.

That SSR needs to be all dull black. He needs to take a look at Sinister. Flat black done right is baddasss. Nice chevy11 in the background.

It's like taking the "Monna Lisa" and letting a Kindy-gardner finger paint on it! Why do these kind of "NUTS" even buy an SSR? Did you hit your head? That's just $25k worth of stupid!
