Just a test for my little red truck

This is just a test to see if I can post a few pictures of my little red truck. I had this paint job done a couple months ago. it was done as a tribute to the Earnhardt Family.

Hope you enjoy!

WOW this SSR was in a local Michigan newspaper that Bob Walczyk had just mailed to me last week. I had scanned it last night to share with everyone but I didn't have time to submit it.

The young lady that was in the article is a huge fan of the Earnhardt's. In the sunglasses there is a reflection of Dale Sr. and the other lens is Dale Jr. if I recall correctly.

I will post the images later tonight.

Actually, the reflections are Dale Jr. and Dale Sr's father, Ralph. But you were very close. The pictures really don't do it justice.

Thats for the invite. Sorry it took me so long. I haven't had the time to really figure the site out, but hopefully I will get used to it soon. Does anyone know how I got moved, and where I went? Does that happen on its own or is there a helper our there?

This will be our last run for this year.....sorry to say. Many of us store our SSR's for the MI Winter.

I will send you a PM (private message) asking for your e-mail address. I will then be able to inform you of up and coming runs via of e-mail. It's better to e-mail as some members arent' on the site daily.
Keep an eye also on the "Great Lakes" Section of the Forum as I post the information there as well. You can also view photo's from our past runs under this section.

Hope we will get a chance to hook up sometime soon..........and have a great time at the race!!!

I hope you didn't mind that I moved you from the Test Forum to the SSR in the News Forum, because I thought you could use more viewing exposure. This way most of our members would be more inclined to read about you and your awesome custom painted SSR.

I'm curious, the article says "more powerful 6 cylinder", I guess it should have been 6 Liter, and not a 6 cylinder? Or am I way off base???

Enquiring minds would like to know...

Actually, she ( the writer of the article) misundersood what it was. Your right, I had a "tweaked" 6.0 put in it. The original engine kept overheating and each time it got really hot, in fact I seized it once, it ran worse. I have a friend out of California who builds these engines for sandrails and such, and I couldn't resist.
