MSN knocking the SSR

Found this today on the MSN website.

10 Cars That Deserved to Fail

Those Bastards! Everytime I read one of these articles, I think of some yuppie driving a bland car trying to write a piece about vehicles that stand out.

Written by popular mechanics editors,

Cars models come and go. These auto embarrassments couldn't fail fast enough for us.

Easy to pick on low production models. Lets see if they can afford one in 20 yrs.

"There was just one problem: It was a hardtop convertible pickup truck, with a V8."

I guess I'm missing the point where this is a problem... the whole reason I have an SSR is because it's a convertable sports car pickup. It takes the place of three different cars in my driveway!

I saw that article yesterday...what a crock of crap. All I can say is they're missing out and the best part of all is the amazing family that comes with the truck. I haven't found that anywhere else.

I saw the article too and whoever wrote missed the point on all these cars. The Pinto was made for 10 years, hugo was a piece of crap but it filled a market niche, there is a place at the bottom of the article that lets you vote on it and when i last saw it 73% of the people that read it didn't like it.

Doesn't matter to them whether you like it or not, the more responses they get, the more they can charge the advertisers... don't feed the trolls.

I am with you on this. When we respond we just make them richer. They haven't a clue how fun this vehicle is. There loss is our gain!!!!

What do you expect from a bunch of panty waste ultra libturds! When I was researching my purchase I found a time mag article that listed the SSR as one of the 10 all time worst vehicles. That sealed the deal I had to have one if those jerks did not like it.

Glad you decided to show them by buying an SSR instead of that other top ten worst, the Aztec.

I have a Prowler in the garage which along with the SSR made Time mag top ten worst ever. I also am suffering from from mid life crisis and poor taste in metal

Maybe they just need a hug,or a ride around the block.

A couple of my 20 yr old boy's friends commented to him agreeing with this very article. One of them said they're just a modern day el camino. He loaded them up and brought them over. Backed it out of the garage and gave the camino hater a ride through some curves a few miles away. His eyes must have been huge when I reached the 45 mph sign and stood on it around the 1st banked curve. He was sure reaching for something to brace himself.

"Dude this is badazz!" I hadn't even put the top down yet.

"Despite GM's addition of the 400-hp LS2 in its final year of production" The writer should get his facts straight...unless all you 05 owners purchased yours with the 5.3 motor and swapped it out with a LS2.
