.......the bad thing is that all the information in the article is wrong
i was excited to have a second car i owned published in a magazine (only available in the mid east though) and i couldnt wait till the magazine was out. I gave the publisher all info about the car and even dynoed it again for more proof. everything was working out perfectly and i was even supposed to compete against the cars they put me up against (hummer H2 and Dodge SRT-10 quad cab......dont ask.......they thought it would be a fair comparison) until the publisher didnt really care what modifications i made to the car and thought that on LPE's website, the prices and info would be there. I expected to give them a list of mods and other things like i did before to another mag but once they took the pics, they told me the mag was going to be published the next day they dont have any info about the car and they were going to publish the next day?? thats ridiculous. I thought something was wrong and i wasnt really bothered about it because they told me that they will call me so they can ask questions about the car so i thought maybe the guy who told me the mag was being published must have been mistaken. One week later, i got free copies and read the article...spelling mistakes always bother me when i read these mags cause they dont really care when they edit the mags but when i saw the info...i was too embaressed to even talk about the mag to anyone.
i am too embaressed to even scan the article and show you guys whats in it. i thought that the editor understoood what a stall torque converter was, i didnt think they would compare it to a bmw SMG II M3's rocket launch system. not to mention i some how have a rebuilt 5 speed gearbox by lpe....yikes. I need to stay away from people who cant write articles.
Well now that you explained it all, we would still like to see the pictures, can you scan them in? Hey don't worry about what you have no control over!
My SSR: '05 Concept Truck, powered by Heavy Duty rubberbands, and a really BIG WINDUP KEY!
yes you need to share the article and the name of the magazine as well as the reporters name, That way we can all either write in or bombard their website with other information that they were too busy to bother with.
I love the picture of the three trucks. That is how my SSR looks next to my brother's H2... just in black not yellow. I've got to set up a picture like that.
