New Magazine with SSR

Hello all. Just want to give a heads up for those of you who buy and collect any published books or articles on the SSR (as I do).

The March 2008 edition of "Super Rod" magazine has an 11 page article on the build-up and installation of a Magnacharger on an '04 Slingshot.

The cover of the periodical is headlined with "Truck Trends-what you can learn from these builds." The picture is of a highly modded '47 Chevy pickup that looks like something where JimG is headed with SLURP.

On the lower left of the cover is a mistaken title of "Beginning-to-end, 108 HP LS3 Blower Install" with a picture of the maggie. This is what caught my eye, and was pleased to see an install on an SSR, but there is no LS3 article in the magazine.

I found the magazine at my local Books-A-Million bookstore. I also saw copies at our Kroger grocery store.

Really appreciate this website. Really love my SSR.

Super Rod Article

Note to All: I posted one day after I bought the magazine. Sorry it was so late in the newstand cycle. I had seen the magazine a two weeks earlier but had not noticed the "LS3 charger install". Ah well.

Note to KWhopper: May I say sir, that your acquisitions far outnumber mine. I'm envious. I did not get really seriously interested in the SSR until I read somewhere that the ASC line would be closing. That would be around January, 2006. My meager collection would barely fill two magazine boxes. I did manage to get all four years of the brochures, two copies of Witzenberg's SSR book, and JimG's excellent e-book.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have [I]some[I] of your older stuff. From your list forward:

On the Cover:
GM High-Tech Performance (Jul 06), 13-sec '04 Redline
Truckin' (Aug 30, 2005) 20 pages of "World's Best Drop-Top Trucks"

Articles within the magazine:
Truckin' (no month given, just "Vol. 32, No.4, 2006") article on Blue '06
Sport Truck (Dec 06) article & poster on Al & Ed's Autosound Redline
Car and Driver (Sep 03) intro article on Signature Series

Hope this helps.

Magazine

While I was at the local grocery store today I walked past the magazine
section and just happen to catch this magazine out the corner of my eye.
Price was $3.99 and they had 4 on the shelf.

If you want one let me know and I will pick it up. Don't know how long they will last.

I looked all over the web site including looking through 21 pages of old issues and could not find it.
