I thought it looked a bit like the Ranchero from the 60s...my old cowboy boyfriend had one. Kinda reminds me of the little Subaru truck as well.

Guess I'm just a bit slooooooow. Got an email yesterday [spam] from Pontiac promoting the "Name This Car" contest. I didn't know it was already called the G6.

Hmmm, a GrandAmCamino, very cute. My grandmother would love one, it looks like the perfect gardening vehicle. I hope you were'nt comparing this to our trucks.

IMO..When will GM ever learn It's a Grand Am with a pick-up bed on it This ranks up there with that new GTO (Australian Murano thing)
Once in a blue moon GM does something great, and you can see the top of the mountain..TA-DA...SSR is born Then it goes away as quickly as it came into existance..WITH FRIGGIN HARD TO FIND PARTS LESS THAN 6 MONTHS LATER ..walks in the Ebay SSR part scalpers. Anyway, I certainly did not want to offend anyone in anyway, this is just my small opinion. It just seems like GM can try harder Besides this is the SSR forum
My SSR would push that Pontiac Grand Am on the ground and take it's lunch money :0

Yes its a Ute. Great that its getting to the USA. We have had many pictures and posts on the Australian cars and a Search can provide a lot of pics and facts from our data base. High quality stuff.

Chevy Tornado in Mexico

Chevrolet Montana/Tornado

I saw these all over Mexico recently. Reminds me of the old Subaru Brat from the late 70's.

I seen a review of this in the new issue of Motor Trend. Pontiac had a contest to name the vehicle and they settled on the Pontiac G8 ST(Sport Truck), they have it slated for the 2010 model year and it will likely retail for$31,000 - 34,000. It will feature a 361 HP 6.0 V8

Check out this link for more info.............2010 Pontiac G8 Sport Truck: The El Camino Is Back!

I don't guess I need one. I have driven my daily driver, a 69 ranchero, for 30 years now. I really like it, tho.
