I actually have time between Christmas and New Years to drive that truck home. Still haven't decided whether I'm going to break it down for parts or sell it to pay off my taxes yet.

Auto dealer raises cash for Salvation Army
The NeSmith Chevrolet Buick GMC dealership on Hwy. 280 West in Claxton raised $22,840 for the Salvation Army of Savannah by raffling off a 2004 “Slingshot Yellow” Chevrolet SSR on Christmas Eve.
Savannah’s food network star, Paula Deen, drew the winning raffle ticket Saturday morning at the Salvation Army Community Center. All of the holiday raffle proceeds went to the Salvation Army of Savannah.
Helton Motors, a used car dealership in Savannah, won the vehicle, which was donated anonymously in late October. NeSmith then launched a raffle for the vehicle at $20 a ticket online at the NeSmith website, at the NeSmith Claxton dealership and through community efforts.
A total of 1,142 raffle tickets were sold.
Captain Marion Platt, commanding officer of the Salvation Army in Savannah, offer thanks to everyone who purchased a raffle ticket.
“You all are helping those who are in great need,” Platt said.
This is the second year NeSmith has made a donation to the Salvation Army of Savannah. The dealership donated 4,000 toys for Christmas in 2010.
Salvation Army Receives More than $20,000 in Donations from Car Raffle
NeSmith Chevrolet Buick GMC handed over nearly $23,000 today to the Salvation Army in a presentation on Christmas Eve morning. And Paula Deen made an appearance, drawing the winning ticket to a car.
The dealership raised $22,840 for the Salvation Army by raffling off a 2004 "Slingshot Yellow" Chevrolet SSR. According to the dealership, 100 percent of the proceeds from the raffle went to support the Salvation Army of Savannah and its programs.
The lucky winner of the 2004 Chevy is Helton Motors, a used car dealership in Savannah Ga. We're told the "hot rod" was donated to the Salvation Army of Savannah by an anonymous person in late October. NeSmith then launched a raffle to generate charitable offerings for the organization this holiday season. A total of 1,142 raffle tickets were sold at a cost of $20 apiece.
"We are truly blessed to have NeSmith Chevrolet help us raise these funds for our organization," said Captain Marion Platt, Commanding Officer of the Salvation Army in Savannah. "Our thanks also go out to everyone who purchased a raffle ticket. You all are helping those who are in great need."
"It was my absolute pleasure to hold the SSR raffle for the Salvation Army," said NeSmith. "When Captain Platt approached us with the SSR, it was such a unique opportunity to raise money this Christmas for such an important cause. We are so grateful to also have Paula Deen recognize our efforts with her participation, and we'd like to extend an even bigger thank-you to our community for helping us give back this Christmas."
This is the second year NeSmith has made a donation to the Salvation Army of Savannah. The dealership donated 4,000 toys to the Christian based organization for Christmas in 2010.
