Dallas Detective Robert Quirk is investigating a gang shooting that left two dead and four with gunshot wounds. When surveillance tapes fail to identify the shooter, detectives must rely on witnesses for information. In Kansas City, Detective Robert Blehm is working the murder of a suburban man found dead in his pickup truck with a fist full of dollars and drugs. With a number of good prints on the scene, Blehm hopes that the forensic evidence will aid him in the hunt for his killer.
Did a google search: Kansas City juvenile to be tried as adult for murder in Jackson
Daily Record and the Kansas City Daily News-Press, Dec 1, 2006 by Daily Record Staff
A 16-year-old Kansas City boy was certified as an adult by a Jackson County Family Court judge and charged with second-degree murder on Tuesday.
Jaron A. Bradley was charged by Jackson County prosecutors in connection with the Oct. 14 shooting death of Matthew Tennant at 64th Street and College Avenue.
According to a police report, officers found Tennant, 44, behind the wheel of a truck at the intersection. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A K-9 unit tracked the trail of a person witnesses reported had run from the scene. The search ended at a home in the 6300 block of Indiana Avenue, where the police dog found a headband that his mother identified as Bradley's.
Fingerprints taken from inside the truck were matched to Bradley.

She has pneumonia. They are keeping her a few more days since she is young for the typical age that gets it. They are not sure if it is "Valley Fever" - a rather nasty pneumonia (fungi based rather than viral/bacterial) that seems to be a problem here in the San Joaquin Valley...

We thought there was a chance she'd come home today - but the docs are keeping her in the Hospital. Hopefull that she'll be coming home tomorrow... It will take quite some time for her to get her full strength back.
Did manage to get a couple pics at Clovis Community Hosp (real nice place) during a 'smoke/starbucks break' yesterday:
