SSR in February Truckin' Magazine

Just a heads up for all you SSR magazine article collectors out there (of which I am one).

The February 9, 2009 edition of Truckin' magazine, referenced on the cover as Volume 35, No. 3, contains a seven page article on an SSR called Project Super Stunner. I picked up a copy at Books-A-Million.

The SSR is even pictured and mentioned on the editorial page. This is the same red/mattte black SSR referred to in an earlier thread about pictured SiniSteR. It's a medium-custom build of an '06 red three-pedal. They spent about two years building it.

The gosh-darned thing about it all, is not only is the truck NOT on the cover, there is NOT even a mention of it (on the cover)! I picked the mag (rag) up because of the cover mention of a GPS test. As I flip through, low and behold the Stunner that the Sin crew mentioned.

The cover pictures a green/blue flamed '07 Silverado Classic Crew Cab. I mention this to help you find it. I am unable to scan or post any of the pictures at present.

I like what they did with their build. Please post you thoughts.

CVS didn't have it so I will look when I am out tomorrow

found it today,

but I don't know if I am all that impressed they had the SSR for 2 years and all they did was add headers, changed the exhaust and bagged it

ok a little paint put I am not in love with the flames for some reason and why didn't they do something to hide the undercarriage, it just looks sloppy!!! but it is cool to have an SSR in a big spred in a magazine

I picked mine up two weeks ago. Vettegirl said the SSR would be in the Feb Issue and it was.
