SSR in GM "Century Cruise"
I was one of 106 GM vehicles that were selected to participate in GM's 100 Year Anniversary events called the "GM Century Cruise" at this years Woodward Dream Cruise.
If you have time you might want to visit this site to view all of the 106 GM vehicles that were selected to participate in the cruise.
If you have time you can register on GM's Next site so that you can vote for your favorite entry.
There are a total of 106 vehicles that were invited to participate in the GM Century Cruise. I was very fortunate to be included in that great event. If you want to view my SSR; my number is GM102 found on page 11. When you go to the above link to view the vehicles make sure you use the sort feature and select "Newest" where you will then be able to view all 106 vehicles that GM has selected to be included in this years' Woodward Dream Cruise on August 16, 2008.
If you want you can cast your vote for the only SSR selected ...
FYI: My vehicle rating has dropped from the above image considerably since earlier today ... so as you can see I could use some extra help and support from our great fanatic members. Hint Hint...

Marc, we are lucky to have you making sure we all behave and congratulations joining the GM Century Cruise.
One question though.... do you win something if you get the most stars? I couldn't find anything about it on the website.
There is what GM is calling the TOP "Bragging Rights" for the most votes for the best ride/ cruiser. Thus whoever gets the most votes can claim that title.
FYI: I like all the GM vehicles but I happen to believe that the SSR is the BEST Street Cruiser GM ever made!
BTW: If you want to vote you can register and vote as often as you like.
My SSR: 03. Custom paint. Flowmaster 40, lake pipes, 4.56's, torque converter, Vette servo, Bosal tips.
I'm home from work now and will continue to vote while watching the Olympics. Marc is right, by voting for him we are voting for all SSR's. If you love your SSR then vote as many times as you can! There truly is no other car or truck quite like it.

There is no better GM cruiser than this "American Original" the Super Sport Roadster... or SSR! Only a few other cars may have more raw speed and agility but none have the looks, the fenders, the style and awesome smiles per mile than this instant Chevy classic has!
Jgrden (6:03 PM, 2008-8-11)
Absolutely dazzling. Made to perfection.

Wow it looks like Garage Kept?
Tugboat (8:42 PM, 2008-8-08)
Is it a truck? Is it a convertible? Is it a Corvette? Who would have thought you could get all three in one vehicle. The SSR is an amazing feat of GM engineering. Not only does it turn heads as you roar down the street, it comes with a family of fellow SSR owners! Never has there been a better boulevard cruiser.
sharptoys (10:21 AM, 2008-8-08)
Is it a bird a plane no better a SSR...Love the R...

BlueStreak (4:43 PM, 2008-8-07)
The only improvement I can think of would be if this were an '06 and Pacific Blue.
