When I used to collect cars from the 50's, 60's, 70's I would always make it a point in my business travels when in the Milwaukee airport to stop by one of their bookstores. They had a pretty extensive collection of old Life magazines of all things. I would kill time going through some of the appropriate years (fall issues) where the new car ads were predominant and purchase certain ones that had ads of the cars I had interest in.
It was always interesting to look at the other ads and articles besides the ones related to cars. Would really take you back in time......alot of ads from the energy cos. and cigarette makers!
