Steve Height Sr.'s
'35 International Tow Truck
Color: Yellow
Mileage: 1200
Pet name: Shine
Under the hood: 454 big block Chevy Power
Origin: The truck was an honest barn find on an old farm in Westfall Township, Pa.
Special features: My husband fabricated just about every component, from the hand-built body to the rear fenders, which used to be a propane tank. The truck is also 4-wheel-drive with a turbo 400 transmission. All the graphics were hand-painted to resemble the nostalgic era in which the truck was built. The truck boom was a 1925-27 period Manley Tow Crane. The front fenders were actually shortened to accommodate front clearance for the axle. The side plates below the doors and below the bed were actually made from a generator cabinet. This truck was taken to the Baltimore Tow show in November 2009 first time out and won Vintage Class Best of Show.

What bugs you about other drivers? Common courtesy when you have people driving in groups and pulling out in front
On which make and model did you learn to drive, and did you pass your driver's test the first time? 1959 Chevy Apache Pickup with 3-speed on the column. Yes, passed the first time.
