Doug, sign me up for whatever needs to be done. I also want to get the HP tune. I also have have one of Mikey's radiator supports that I need to install and Mikey should have the main fan replacement that I recently ordered from him available by then. I will bring some basic hand tools and will help out with anything. Looking forward to this.

I'll be glad to help in any way. Some experience with fat mat and spare tire kits. I might be ready for an aux fan by then and could use the HP tune.

I would like to do the spare tire kit. And I don't know if I missed it in another thread, how about window tinting / re-tinting with the mole skin scratch protection?

Thumbs up Be There

Hey Doug,

Blue Thunder and I plan to drive down from Colorado with my Slingshot.

So far here are the things for improvement;
The Tune
Eibach lowering springs

I spoke with Mike while he was here this weekend and he said he thinks we will have time to do a Air Dam and Radiator support on my truck so if you would add me to the list it would be appreciated. I will pick up the parts from him when I arrive.

Pencil or chalk me in as a helper. I can do spare tire installations. Need fat mat installation and finally getting mu Muth Mirrors installed. As for Pot Luck, just say what to bring.
If my exhaust is done by then, I might work with Joe to drop a couple pulley sized ad re-tune.

Let me do a little research - we'll find a nice hotel with reasonable rates.

Doug, would there be any possibility of draining the Dextron out, flushing out the radiator, and replacing with Prestone green stuff?

That sounds great. I'll come prepared to do that and help anyone else that wants it done. Also, put me down for a pot luck. I'm sure I can figure out a way to get a big pot of chili over there.

Doug

Always willing to help, do not need anything done on the Commet, except possibly a set of lowering springs for the back end. Hanging around numereous Tech Sessions, I can do almost everything.

If anybody is contemplating having gears installed, Allen at The Gear Shop will install your gears (supplied by you) for $ 450.00, including GM gear lube and a new pinion seal. PM me for more info - Joe Delano can calibrate your R while he's here if you get the gear install done before the Tech Session.

Thought we were going to have to come over or go to Joe's because of the "check engine" light being on...but...Joe suggested disconnecting the battery and so far, all is well. Maybe, just maybe, we can come over and visit.

Cowbell needs new gears

I'll take 'em.

We would be honored to have the Rocketman in attendance!

For those of you that do not know, Art held the very first Tech Session in his garage several years ago, which makes him the "Godfather" of Tech Sessions!

Thanks for the offer, glad to have you on board Art!
