It will be great to see you there. BLUE THUNDER and I will be driving down from Denver.
I had fat mat installed in Kerrville and it bunched up in the driver's door and damaged my window tint so it had to removed.

Doug, my windows keep losing the index settings and will, periodically, not go down when the door is opened. Seems like this might be the ignition switch so put me in for one of those. Does this change the key?
Thanks!

Scott, I've got a few extra switches, we can swap yours out in ten minutes, no key necessary. We'll try a few tricks first before we swap out the switch.
For those of you that want FatMat soundproofing done on your R's the cutoff date for me to order it in time to get it shipped is February 25th. If you have not already expressed your desire to have FatMat installed, and are contemplating it, I need you to respond by then.
Due to the large number of mechanical requests such as spring replacements, spare tire kits and flushes, etc., I have enlisted the help of our two top mechanics to help out for the day.
Donations to reimburse them for their time will be appreciated.

I was really planning on showing up for this one..as a surprise...but alas, an employee wants a vacation...well deserved, so she gets it and I have to cover in her stead.

Thank you, thank you very much.
Hey Doug,
Delivery made to Vix
On the FatMat... What is the cost of it? Is there a per truck price if you are buying bulk?
I am seriously thinking of coming over for maybe FatMat and the "sound" thingy in the roof compartment...

I am buying bulk, and the folks at FatMat know me very well by now, so they cut me a deal. I use FatMat because it's a wonderful product, designed for our needs (it is not a roofing material you can buy from Home Depot or Lowe's that will fall off in the Southwest heat), and it's easy to work with.
That said, as long as I have been installing this product, I have donated it to the members, because it is a major improvement in sound quality for the audio systems and sound suppression.

Doug,
It was my pleasure to make the delivery. You are awesome... "my treat"?
Well I talked to Rebecca and I will be there for the tech session as she will be in PS for work... Would you put me on the list for FatMat, the sponge "thingy" fix for the roof compartment and if Mikey has any radiator supports left.. one of those too... I'll contact Mikey and check it out with him. I figure I have been on borrowed time with 108K on the Tub and haven't hit anything to take the front end off/out...
With my knee and back I can't do much to help but I'll be willing to do whatever I can do to help.. even if it is delivering food to the workers so they can't stop working...

That sucks!!!! I have a bottle of tequila with your name on it anytime you come out
For the co-pilots that are not going to be working on the R's I will have transportation available to shuttle us over to Downtown Glendale for antique/whatever shopping. VisitGlendale.com - The Official Tourism Web Site for the City of Glendale, Arizona to look at the stores that are there. This is just a short drive from the tech session.
I also want to add that Zane (Zlssr) has graciously offered to bring hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, donuts, and coffee. I already have paper plates, utensils at the office. So if there is something you would like to bring to compliment the menu bring it. They will eat it
Oops, never mind

Reason: wrong post
I checked out hotels in the area. Spring training does jack up the prices and availability on some. I really wouldn't recommend this hotel for your needs. The hotel itself might be ok, but you may not have an R outside when you get up in the morning if you get my drift I did find -Thunderbird Executive Inn and Conference Center. I found it off of Expedia for $89.00 a night. Not far from the office and just a straight shot down 51st Avenue. And a much better part of town!
