Thumbs up 3rd Annual AZ Tech Session - Saturday March 12, 2011

Thumper and I will be hosting the 3rd Annual AZ Tech Session on Saturday, March 12, 2011. Last March we worked on 46 SSR's.....and got them all completed.

This year we'll be performing whatever needs that can reasonably be done from 6:30 AM until (roughly) 4:00 PM.....

My favorite Father-In-Law Jim will again be our chef - we'll provide the burgers and dogs, buns, sodas and water - the rest is Pot Luck, so please let us know what you'd like to bring.

Potential Work Items -

Ignition Switch Replacement
Sway Bar Replacement
Lowering Spring Installation
Differential / Tranny Pan Removal and Replacement
Brake Pad / Rotor Replacement
Satin to Chrome Parts Swap

If anybody wishes to have soundproofing installed, I need to know no later than February 18th!!!!!

As an added bonus, Joe Delano, the Guru of SSR tunes, will once again be on hand to perform HP tunes for your R's, provided we can give him a minimum of 10 R's to tune. The cost per tune will be $ 135.00 per tune - a SMOKING DEAL - AZ TPI charges a MINIMUM of $ 250 per tune, and Joe is driving over from his home in SoCal. Let's make it worth his effort!

If you need a front end alignment, Tire Works (my son works there) will perform a laser alignment for $ 40.00. They will install Remote Tire Pressure Monitors (Remote units only) for $ 20.00 per wheel, mounted and balanced. They will not install the monitor.

Last year the out of towner's stayed at the Thunderbird Executive Suites. If there's enough interest, I'll give them a call and see if they'll give us a discount.

Kinda tough to have a Permagrin with a sore butt.

Besides, it wasn't in the mid 70's by the time I got home around 8 O'Clock so my sore butt was the only warm part of my body.

That would be nice if there are enough of us to keep them happy. They were pretty full last year for some reason.
