4th Annual AZ Tech Session - Saturday, March 17, 2012

Thumper and I will be hosting the 4th Annual AZ Tech Session on Saturday, March 17, 2011. Last March we worked on 49 SSR's!

This year we'll be performing whatever needs that can reasonably be done from 6:30 AM until (roughly) 4:00 PM.....

Potential Work Items -

To order parts:
Contact Joe DeLano (2005SSR6Speed) for the front cross member in Red
Contact Mike Moro (Mike in AZ) for items listed in Blue

If anybody wishes to have soundproofing installed, I need to know no later than February 24th.

Tunes
Joe Delano will once again be on hand to perform HP tunes for your R's, provided we can give him a minimum of 10 R's to tune. The cost per tune will be $ 200.00 per tune. Joe is driving over from his home in SoCal, so let's make it worth his effort!

I'm not going to post regarding a dinner on Friday night before the Tech Session at this time, as we have some family issues that may get in the way.

We'll see what kind of response we get for the Tech Session, maybe we'll set something up as we get closer to March 17th.

Doug, I know there is a monetary cost you and Thumper have borne in the past...what can I do to help to make this event work for you both. I love the Tech sessions and look forward to helping others with fatmat, rear center flashers, etc, and the great comraderie.

Doug - I just need Joe to adjust my speedo from doing the tune last year. Just haven't made it down to his place yet.

I'll plan on helping whereever.

Of course, assuming travel schedule lets me/us be there.

Regards,

if anyone would like AMSOIL lubes (or additives) at the tech day, for their differential, tranny, etc, I would be happy to supply and sell it to them (at a discount). Just need to know in advance so I can order, and bring it.

I will be available to help and I would like to install a spare tire kit as I travel some two thousand miles back and forth to Phoenix from Edmonton Alberta. Don't like not having a spare. I have the rim and tire from a 2004 Trailblazer just waiting to be installed. Likely a number of other things I would like to do as well if time and manpower permits, like the flashing third light and perhaps the signal lite mirrors. One thing I would like for sure is to change the shift cable end piece for one of Dictators. It can be a long walk to the nearest ranch in Montana!!!!!

Helping with food and drinks is right up my alley as well. Just let me know what I can do.

Put me down as a helper. This will be the start of my drive to Daytona Beach for the Florida Rally. Nor rest for the wicked I guess. It just means that I head east instead of West when we wrap up.

Please add my name to the list for a tune. I may even know the words.

I'm going to try and borrow or rent a trailer and bring my stock chrome wheels to donate to your warehouse of goodies. I'm still contemplating about keeping the Wheel caps, since they are painted to match my truck.

Doug, should I reach out to the leather repair guy for interior fixes? He did a good job on a deep scratch on mine last year, and helped many others.
Any Interest?
