This used to be a Ramada Inn. They just finished remodeling it, the rates are about $128, right off the freeway and the parking lot is viewable from your room.

Do you need the fluid added, or do you want it changed? Either way, bring the fluids with you, and a transmission filter if you want it changed.

A reminder to bring fluids and filters with you if you're changing them , or swapping out diff or tranny covers.

Hi Doug. I will be attending the tech session again this year. I placed an order with Mike yesterday for:

front frame stiffning plate
a pair of front and rear bilstein shocks
a front and rear Addco sway bar

I would like to get these installed while there.

You can sign me up as a helper. I'll throw the tool box in the back of the truck.

I'll also bring a pot of chilli and some tortillas along for the pot luck.

Doug -I sent you a PM - but thought I'd ask here too - I just purchased a Sirius GM-1 tuner and would like to know if there would be time/knowledge available in the helpers to install it? I have a surface mounted Sirius tuner mounted to the top of the dash - but it uses an empty FM station rather than a direct link to the factory radio. Thanks!

I haven't done one, it probably wouldn't be tough except for the removal of the dash front - it would need to come completely off for a radio R & R.

If we have time.....or you can send a PM to stereosteve, he's a local Fanatic that does this professionally, and can help you if he's available.

Doug, I just checked the list at the top of the thread and noted what I wanted to do at the tech session. My most important item was missed. I wanted to install a spare tire kit. I contacted Mike for the kit before Xmas and he will bring it with him. Hope this doesn't screw things up, there are a lot of people who want things done.

Doug

I understand that Mike will have some of the shift cable repair kits available. If there is time we would like to have one installed.

There's more to it, NMR.

Unless things have changed over the last six plus years, I distinctly remember TWO Add-Ons (the GM-1 plus another component) in addition to the Antenna for an installed SIRIUS.

Also, if my memory hasn't gone completely South . . . Doug is correct, the dash was fully removed for the installation.

On the positive side . . . WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Doug, I cannot find the card for the leather repair guy that attended last year. Would you or anyone else have his number?
I know I had my leather refreshed and it looked brand new. I would only want to invite him if there was enough interest for him to make the trip. If I remember correctly he lived in Tempe, or Mesa.
