As time has passed, it would seem we have lost count, or contact with all the Arizona SSR Fanatics.
There was a time that I could name every R owner, between Flagstaff & Tucson, but so many have come and gone, it’s time to see who is out there.
I for one would really like to know how many SSR Fanatics, represent Arizona.
If you are an Arizona (Zoney) SSR Fanatic, please respond here and let’s
Stand Up and be Counted
Also hoping this will help lead to more AZ runs & functions, when the weather allows. (Planning a 101/202 loop Poker Run in the fall, stay tuned)
Here’s looking for you…….

We're on the same page here. I have been wishing that we had a single thread for Arizona members to be counted. You know that you will now "own" this thread and be responsible for keeping it up to date in the first post...... Right, bud????
Here's us.......
Mike in AZ
Mikey's Squeeze
Thanks for doing this

We need a count of SnowBirds, too, as that will have a bearing on what runs to plan for. Count us in too, please. Purple Hawk, more than Yellow Bear until after May next year..... Then.... watch out !
We're IN.... When we're There!

Bill and I still have our truck and look forward to the next get together.
When we first got our truck we would drive around anytime with the top down and now we don't drive it much at all.
The other day it was 114 outside and we pulled up next to a guy in a 2011 mazda convertible (I could tell it was a 2011 because he had temporary plates on it that said so) so I assume that he just bought it and he had the top down. It brought back memories of what we did when we first got our truck. Do you remember those days?
My SSR: 2004 UV 14000 Mi. called Purple Haze. Bought 12/31/2010
We're from sunny & right now...too darn HOT Yuma & would like nothing better than Eat & Greets with other Zoneys. Seeing a yellow pig (DOOPHUS) is on my bucket list. We do meet with Yellow bear & Purple hawk as they pass thru on their way to their new retirement home in Surprise (home sweet home). Doesn't that word "RETIREMENT" sound good, Fuji??? As far as I know we are the only Fanatics in Yuma. Sal & Bev

well count us in then, I am giving thought to bringing the R to Mesa next winter but not sure how we would deal with times that friends that fly in. Rent something I guess but I can only have 'one' car in my driveway and no street parking is allowed so the question is what to do with the R?
Time will tell but I will be at the events scheduled between sometime in December and early April regardless.

UPDATE October 26/11
I lost the debate on two seats or four ....... so we are bringin' Momma's Xtreme instead. Next year maybe:~)

Reason: change in plans
We've lost track of many Arizona members over the years, and have added many more that may not know how to participate in AZ events, or plan their own event. Rob and I have spoken many times about the need to organize AZ members, he told me he believes we have 120+ members in AZ, which I agree with.
With ALL AZ members listing their names in this thread, it will be possible for Rob to assemble a list of participating AZ members, and help those members to organize regular events. Since he has taken the reigns, I nominate AC Rob as leader of the Arizona Zonies SSR Club!
Hope this is OK with you Rob, you've been doing this for all of us for five or six years now, you have earned the "Arizona Zonies SSR Club Leader" position, hands down!
Hope you will accept the position, what do you say AZ members?
My SSR: '05 Ricochet #16479 Joe's Tune, Mike in AZ Spare Tire Kit, Rush Air filter, Bosal Exhaust Tips,
You can add AZSSR to the list. We always enjoy getting together with all our SSR friends. Once the weather cools off it will be fun to have a get together..

I am honored and would be proud to take on this role for our beloved "Zoneys"
I accept your nomination, and look forward to an active SSR year here in Arizona.
I just look forward to more activities, for our States' Fanatics.
Just want to get back to our AZ SSR roots.
On another matter, I feel the snowbirds are absolutely included. even though they may not live here full time. They will be here to join us during our active periods throughout the cooler parts of the year.
I will be adding some names of Fanatics, as I recall through memory, or by telephone contact, and of course those that do not frequent the forum.
Looking forward to an active AZ Fanatic year, and will always welcome suggestions for outings and rallys here in Arizona.
Feel free to contact me here, by PM,
or by E Mail: Rmunter@cox.net

Toss a cover on it and park it at the home of one of the resident Fanatics. We're all over the valley and most have enough room for an extra in the driveway. Some may even have garage space......
Glad to have you here in the winter,
Mike & Debbie

Not to step on any toes here but isn’t the information here somewhat similar to the map that Dwight (BlueStreak) been working on?
Hopefully he’ll have it up and running after he completes his remarkable road trip.
My SSR: 2006 Silver/Black Two Tone Build date 12/13/2005
RonJ is still here in Tucson. Don't know for how long I will be a Fanatic though cause looking at putting my 2006 two tone up for sale pretty soon. Just don't drive it, I only have 6204 miles on it. Bought it new in Feb.2006.

Why don't you come on up to Flagstaff and join us even if for only a couple days???
