BMBLBEE has arrived in Tucson for the winter

After a VERY long two day trip of 1700 miles BMBLBEE (my Corvette) arrived to spend the winter in Dove Mountain at 7:30 PM Saturday.

I was VERY pleased to see DOOFUS cruising along in the middle lane of I-10 waiting to greet me about 5 miles north of my exit at Tangerine. I knew it was you as soon as I saw the yellow seat hoops. I honked and waved as I went by but was not sure he picked up on the Alberta "BMBLBEE" plate on my car. Not wanting to be rude, I did slow down and give another wave just as I was exiting.

Thanks for the greeting Doofus!!! I'll be here all week heading back on Sunday next week but returning for another 10 days in November.

Not too sure if it is the Spectacular SSR, the DOOPHUS license plate or just ME but lots of people wave so I was clueless until the Canadian BMBLBEE plate came into view. Then I woke up. You should be damn glad there was still some doubt as I almost took the Tangerine Exit and starting following you. Not all that much out of my way but I was kinda anxious to get home to watch the Yankees play . . . after 12 innings, they're still playing.

What are you plans? Wanna meet for Lunch or a few beers while you're slumming down here? I know a couple of joints that speak Canadian.

After 14 hours on the road yesterday I would not have been very good company last night Doofus. A couple cold beers and a soak in the spa then straight to bed.

I would LOVE to get together this week and since I'm on my own this trip any meal I don't have to cook for myself will be very tasty I'm sure.

I understand complete, Bob . . . I was on the last leg of my long trip from Peoria.

Give me a call (520 888-2444) and we can do a surprise Hungry Drop In on Glenda. She loves to cook. Also, if you're closer to town you're more than welcome to drop by here. Lots of cold beer but no cooking, however, I do know how to order a wicked pizza.
