Delma Lou my wife and I plan on being in Mesa april and the 1st week in may, health permitting we will be at the show for sure, sounds great, wouldnt want to miss it, the Arizona SSR folks are great to be with, cant wait.

As you can tell Bill and I and some volunteers are trying to put on the 2nd annual car show at the Highlands Church and we need some volunteers and sponsors.

We meet every Wednesday from 11:30 - 12:30 at 9050 EAST PINNACLE PEAK RD. • SCOTTSDALE, AZ 85255 so that we can keep things on track.

If you can't make it to the Wednesday meeting we are looking for help:

Every Sunday (but Easter) we will display cars and have a booth in front of the Church to let people know what is going on and collect registrations. If you want to bring your SSR to display and help at the booth we would need you between 8:00am - 11:00am

We are also looking for anyone that wants to help with the Car Show the Day of the show. Help with Registration, parking, Judging (Yes we are having classes this year and giving away over 20 awards) and just anything else that comes up.

Bill and I have volunteered to help set up a display booth on the lawn in front of the Church with bikes and cars on April 5th, to pass out information and collect registrations for the Car Show on May 2nd.

It needs to be a mini car show - there will be free coffee, donuts and juice.

From 8:00am until 11:00am, So far we have a 1951 Ford Truck and 2 SSR's

Anyone want to come and help out?

The show is a week from this Saturday if you sign up before April 25th it is only $20.00 after that it will be $30.00

Bill has a customer that does lazer engraved awards and is making a special award for ALL SSR owners that come to the show. It will look like this award in the picture but in the shape of an SSR. They should be ready next Wednesday and I will post a picture then.



Also Bill and I are expecting to have 20 SSRs show up so we are having a one of a kind award made for the best SSR at the show.

I talked to the parking team today and they are going to rope off 20 spots for our SSR's so we will all be together.
