Car Show and a Movie

WHAT A DEAL - CAR SHOW & MOVIE - SATURDAY APRIL 4TH

GOOD NEWS

Just arranged with theater to get us in the theater at 9:30 AM, before we open the doors to the public to present a 12 minute demo clip from FAST & FURIOUS to all who want to experience the Action Chairs. This is the same clip from the movie that we presented to the press. I have done it and it is the best action of the movie, really really good!

We will take in groups of 22 to do the demo, so everyone will get a shot. I want everyone to experience the thrill and if you do not like, you can get up no money invested, just for fun.

I know the seats went fast, anyone who misses the seat opportunity, I will get you the same deal later as more action movies come out as the blockbuster spring and summer unfold. Just PM me now or in the future, I will take care of you, the least I can do for showing your trucks.

Nancy and I need your help, both Nancy and I work at the new UltaStar Surprise Point 14 theater at the corner of Litchfield Road and Wadell (in Surprise), To open the release of the New Movie 'Fast and the Furious 3' our theater manager would like to host a SSR exclusive Car Show in the parking lot of our theater.

The concept is a 'show and shine', with press coverage, for the SSR's, then on to the debut of the (first in the world) D-BOX 'Theater Action Chairs' and finally the opening of the Movie. These new chairs actually have action que's from the movie that move the chair with the movie, you feel the explosions, rock to the side when the car turns and so on - very very cool!

It will be a roped off area for the trucks, with security to protect our babies, starting mid morning (9AM and lasting to say 2PM, then the 'Fast and Furious 3' movie showing. I am working on a special package, with reduced pricing for the movie and a special concession package. We are also working on TV coverage for the event to coincide with the preimere of the action chairs. I hope to talk them into prizes for the cars and some certificates to reconize your participation at this event.

Please come and join us, would like to get an idea of who will come, so I can post here.

This is very special for Nancy, because this is the pilot event for her to become the full time 'Special Events Manager' for the theater, if this goes well, she will move into that role of organizing even more fun events for the theater. Please come and make this a sucess, so she can stop selling tickets and do this full time. Would like to get 20 plus SSR's for the event!!

Special Note: Feel free to invite your family members and friends to see the movie and SSR's. You do not have to have an SSR to get into the movie, I am working on getting a theater of our own for the Movie.

Pre-Show Breakfest

Lets meet at the Village Inn Restrurant at 7:30 AM on Grand Avenue between Reems and Park View North of Bell, The exact address is 14539 West Grand Avenue 623-975-3855. I have reserved a room to accomadate up to 50 people. It will give us plenty of time to eat and then traverse the 4 miles to the theater, I believe the party has started.

Just recieved a 12 minute Fast and Furious 'Teaser', and it is incrediable. I just loaded it to the theater as part of the D-BOX Demo we will use to pre-screen and demo the chairs to the press and local politicians, like the mayors of the surrounding cities.

It is my understanding that starting Wednesday we will let whomever comes into the theater to test the chairs on the 22 minute Demo Clip, it includes action clips from Die Hard, Ice Age, Monsters House and of coarse Fast and Furious 3. If anyone is in the area I will be working and I can get you a chair to ride.

I have been working on getting us a theater of our own for the movie, well the movie is expected to be so popular (no room for special screening) and the studio will not OK it. That's the bad news, the good news is, we can attend the performance in the Action Chair's in Theater 2, so those that want to experience the movie with moving chairs tied to the action; can do. We will get the special $5.50 pricing and some kind of special concession pricing on popcorn, drinks and candy. Stay tuned it is going to be super. We will also have a drawing for 10 free tickets and sell raffle tickets for the special 'Promotion Banner' for the show. It is a real beauty, thanks to Thumper for helping me design and get it produced. Sure is nice to have so many talented friend's to help me out!!!

Movie Time

Just recieved the booking schedule for the Fast and Furious, it is scheduled for 12 Noon or 2:30. I figure we will get bored in the parking lot so I have elected to take the earlier time, also more Action chairs available for the earlier movie. Joe and Sue hope this gives you enough time to get back from the airport, if not Nancy and I will go to the 2:30 with you!

Lets do the Noon showing; If you want to see the movie in the action D-Box Chairs, we will have to make a reservation to reserve a seat. There are 22 Action Chairs available for the showing and 3 regular customers have already reserved; leaving only 19 left. The cost is $5.50 (reduced rate)for the movie and an additional 8 dollars for the chair - for a total of $13.50. Let me know soon if you want a reservation.

I will keep you informed of who is signed up and what your seat number will be.

Funny timing. I was reading this post and your parents walked up here at 83rd. They are here in the two tone to show it off. Shouldn't the rest of the fleet be here?

WOW What a response

Only the first day and already 16 trucks.

Thanks everyone, still shooting for 20+ trucks, know we will make it!

Big Wave has offered to help me with a special certificate acknowledging your participation in the event. This is the very first opening, in the World, of the D-BOX Action Chairs; when they are common place in every theater you can say 'I was at the very first opening of those chairs'. Besides you may even be on TV. We will also be making a picture of the Trucks lined up out front of the theater - to be hung in the theater to comerate the occasion.

Folks this is going to be loads of fun! So do not miss this one,

Thanks so much for such a great response, Nancy is overwelmed.
