My SSR:
I just spoke with one of the promoters - there is no registration form to fill out in advance, just show up on the 13th with $ 20.00.
Also, he told me that if we can get a minimum of 10 SSR's to show up, he'll get a separate SSR trophy just for us.
We've got 5 going right now, let's get at least five more!!!!!

How odd that this came up, two Dalls Firefighters were in Peoria for the Super Bowl and were shot walking back to their hotel, one of them died from his wounds

And that totally sucks.
The local news is now saying that the victims were selling (or attempting to sell) bootleg Super Bowl Jerseys, and that might have a connection with what happened.
I don't know about any of that, but I do know that it is a terrible thing, and makes the Valley of the Sun look like we are a dangerous place to visit.
Thought and condolences to both firefighters' families.

Lawd knows I tried! ). Are you saying those SSR judges were dubious?
Not my fault some folks consider bunnies more lovable than buzzards...just no accounting for taste!
All seriousness aside, April in Peoria (sounds like an unsuccessful off-Broadway musical) should be a good time - sorry we won't be able to make it to Firebird for the rowdiness. See you all at Rustler's Rooste.

Doug, you must have a big calendar on the wall because I don't know how you keep everything straight.
