We should be passing by on the return from Maggie Valley. If the timing is right, we'll drop in. We're a Definite Maybe! Putting it on our itenerary. Hope to see youse there....
I will make some calls today and see if they can give us a special area & category for SSRs. This should be a great show down here in Tucson.
We would love to have all of our SSR Fanatic friends come to Tucson. I'll start coming up with some ideas for night before lodging and a party at the Grow Coffman House!

OK..... I just got off the phone with Larry Trueax with DM. They are really pleased that the SSR Fanatics are interested in their show.
We will be able to all park together and he suggested this year (since the classes are already determined) that SSRs be in "N" Class Trucks1960 & Older. He is also going to try to change the Classes next year so that we have a SSR class!
Let's try to pre-register by May 13th (you get an event t-shirt, etc for early registration.
See the 1st post for the registration forms.
I'm going to check with my next door neighbor and make arrangements to be able to use his home (they will not be here and there are 3 bedrooms) along with my own home (we have a pool at our home and a hot tub at the neighbors) so that those that want to spend the night can stay here. We will also have dinners planned for Friday & Saturday night dinners.
So..... let me know how many of you are coming. Also, if you will be needing a room, etc.
Great to hear we will be meeting you! I heard from Watson Chevrolet yesterday that they have two SSRs up in Michigan (I think it was Michigan) for sale. They only have 7000 miles on each one. You might want to call Watson and ask for Sam Miller in the Service Department for more information. I'll try to get more information when we pick up BlueSSR tomorrow.
Sending our registration and checks in tomorrow's mail for 2 SSR's at DMAFD on the 17th. Not sure yet if it will be a day trip, but we plan to bring both. Will be in touch later - I have to be in Catalina Mountain 5/14, but I have a lab appointment at 7 a.m., 2 meetings in Phoenix, then a presentation at 1:00 p.m. in Catalina, and have to return to the Phoenix office in the afternoon. Will try to call, but... don't wait up for me!
Intended to make it, however, took in The R Wednesday to Sand's Chevy cause it was using some oil between oil changes, they discovered a rear seal leak and a problem with the instrument cluster. Was susposed to be fixed today, but could not get the part, looks like Thursday of next week. Instrument cluster is out and car is undrivable.

One can always use another 'cold one'! As for the sound proofing business, those that realize the importance of providing the perfect mix between loud outside, but quite inside, have had it done. Others, are coming to that conclusion slowly. On the road to personizing you R, it is tough to invest in internal bling that is not seen.
Take it from me. although the quiet is nice, the spark to your sound system is the real value. The radio comes alive, You hear the entire range of sound the radio is capable of producing. Seems the Dynamat projects the sound into the cabin.
