A day for the Andrea's Closet
First off go to Andrea's Closet and watch the short video so you'll know what I'm talking about.
We nearly lost our 3 yr old granddaughter twice now. And she has to have heart surgery when she turns 5. I can't tell you how many days and nights we have spent at a hospital. So this is something that hits me in my heart.
So this is what I have put together:
Saturday, October 18th lets spend the day at have a good time to benefit Andrea's Closet
11:00 a.m.
We will meet at the Buffalo Chip Saloon in Cave Creek (6811 E. Cave Creek) you can go to their website for a map if you don't know the area, Cave Creek Arizona Buffalo Chip Saloon & Steakhouse It seems like every time we get together we eat, so I didn't want to disappoint anyone
1:30 p.m. We will meet at the Martin Auto Museum at 17641 N. Black Canyon Hwy. The is a sign that says Marting Auto Museum right at the driveway entrance-turn there! This is a private museum owned by a friend of mine. Right now he has a 34 cars in the museum, I know he has a Shelby with 36 miles on it, one of Jeff Gordon's car from when he first started NASCAR, an old fire truck, just a variety for everyone to look at.
The entrance fee to the museum will be toy(s)/money donation. I would like to fill up the back of an R with toys! This is my goal for the day
Around 3:30 p.m. We should be at the Safeway at 83rd and Deer Valley for the car show.
The Brunks have told me they would love to meet us and see our trucks, so hopefully sometime during the day they can catch us. If you can't make the whole day, I've tried to time it so you can jump in when you can
Doug and Debbie...........................What a wonderful cause and your planned event is very generous. Lloyd and I will not be able to attend, but we would like to send a check for Andrea's closet. Would you like the check made out to you or to Andrea's Closet? I know that the kind SSR owners in the Phoenix area will make sure that the back of your R is filled with toys.

Count us in - we may not have our truck back by then, but we will be there. Our grandson was there & utilized "Andrea's Closet" twice also. My daughter talked about doing the same thing, I will see if she would like to come & maybe she can get some of her friends to donate a toy. Great idea - love it! It sure helps the kids look forward to going there & picking out something.
