Nancy (Mrs RadSSR) is finally home from the hospital. She will be recuperating for about the next 4 months!
I'm sure Larry could use a little help in preparing a few meals. Anybody close to Surprise that would be willing to cook a meal & deliver it for me? I would cook myself -- but the 2 hour delivery time is a little much!
Hey Nancy... Feel better sweetie! Glad to hear your home. If I was closer I'd send some meals... If there is any we can do for ya long distance... just shout!
awww sorry you are sick and I hope the next 4 months is quick and relaxing, Larry is going to have his hands full, he won't have time to cook xoxo Get well soon
Aw geez! Thanks, Rob - I just experienced a "visual" and I'm gonna have to pour bleach in my eyes!!
Nancy, you gotta get better quick - you know Larry can't be trusted to take care of you, the house, and the R all at the same time. (Besides, you should milk this for all the "peel me a grape" time you can!)
Seriously, take care of yourself, and let us know if we can help.
Nancy was in the hospital for 11 days, as Glenda said she had a severe stomach ache, turned out she had a perferated Colon. After removing 6 inches of her ruptured Colon she is on the mend.
I have had to venture into totally unknow territories such as cooking, laundry and paying the bills, wow is this hard. No need for food though as Doug said plenty of places to get Cheese Burgers and Chocolate Cake.
The important thing is she is home and on the mend, will be at least 4 weeks before she has her strength back. The hard part is keeping her from trying to do everything, she needs to rest.
Thanks everyone for your concerns, she will be back to herself really soon!

Nancy, WOW sorry about all the problems, and Larry thanks for letting us know what was going on with her. Take care of yourself, and when you are feeling better get on here and say"HEY". I know that it will take awhile but you don't want to end up back in the hospital, so let larry do his thing around the house.

Thumper's been in Portland since Tuesday helping out # 2 daughter, who broke her ankle in three places and had pins and a plate installed on Wednesday.
I've been here with Jake, doing what I hear is called laundry - it looks different when Thumper separates clothes.....I think she does it wrong, 'cuz it ALL fits in the washer.....
Betty from Fugi and Betty and her Daughter arrived with a pot roast, homemade maco and cheese and several meat loafs to cook later. Wow food to eat, I survived another couple of days.
I think Glenda had something to do with this also, thanks everyone, you all now have graduated to Sainthood. The adventure continues, Nancy is getting better fast. More updates to follow.
Doug, what do you mean you have to seperate clothes, don't you just wash everything together?

Yes, just hot water all the time and you're good to go.
